Thanks for that - I now remember reading it somewhere but had forgotten - it does put a bit of a kaibosh on my cunning plan to beat the P3S range limitations.

I just bought Litchi today and took it out for a spin with my beloved P3S. I set up a waypoints route in advance which took me out of signal range from the controller but the flight proceeded regardless. I then did a manual flight to see how far out I could get in this location. Flying manually...
