I had this when taking off from a wall, turns out it was just the metal reinforcers in the wall. Moved the phantom elsewhere and it worked fine.
Have you tried taking off from a different location?
Mine won't work either, running lollipop on a nexus 4. Works on my z2 tablet fine, now waiting for dji to update the app. Not holding my breath though.

You can now set your rth altitude too.
I'd like to have seen an option for camera orientation on the groundstation ap though.
Working for me, anybody know the best place to buy a 7th channel lever from? and does it auto center? noticed its tricky getting the right point at which the pot is not moving the camera up or down.

I've updated everything, it all seems to be working fine although I cant go outside with it at the moment as its windy as hell and chucking it down with rain. Works fine indoors with no props, gonna order a 7th channel lever now.
To be honest I used a profile from this thread and tweaked it for myself. The roll power invert was ticked in that one, although I have tried ticked and unticked it doesn't seem to make any difference.
My current settings which seem quite stable are...
ROLL P=10, I=0.05, D=8
PITCH P=14, I=0.05, D=8
POWER ROLL=120, PITCH=90
ROLL POWER INVERT is ticked
POLES=14
I had the same issue, when pointing the camera down it would bounce a bit but only sometimes. I just increased the 'P' and the power a touch as I recall. Sorry I cant recall my actual settings at the moment as I'm away for the next week but I know that it did cure it.
I've got mine Velcro'd onto the top of one of the skids.(one without any wire in it). Then I cut the ribbon off the small clasp thing you get with it and securely tie wrapped that underneath and attached the tracker to that in case the Velcro failed during flight.
