A P3 will fail to do a loop... If you even wanted to attempt it out of GPS mode I'm not even sure it's possible without it plummeting to the ground :/

Issue has been fixed! Turned out the ribbon was at fault - installed a GENUINE DJI ribbon, courtesy of Hunch :) Thanks again.

No, no self test. Cable is out again now... waiting for a genuine part from USA... Will update when installed.

Also, are any of those pictures of plane / aircraft damage from the result of hitting a drone? :rolleyes:

Planes are tested to be able to hit a large bird like geese, ducks etc... hell even the seagulls in my area are like 3+ kg! I swear some of them even have tattoos.... There is far more chance of a plane being hit by a dumb bird than a dumb drone operator.... fact...

I have serached everywhere online for genuine replacement ribbon from DJI... I hear that some non OEM have issues registering with the phantoms... I have bought another 2 ribbons which are both from different manufacturers in the hope that one of them will work... I feel like im gonna have no...

Hey guys, Drawing on your collective intelligence I would like you to please help me if possible. I had a minor crash, the gimbal ribbon was severed, no other damage to the gimbal other than the usual eject of the camera... Replaced the ribbon today, made sure everything was seated...

Anyone know if the IMU would affect this?

No it was 14.00 but suddently he has upped his price the day after i purchased it... says genuine part on the listing... now im not so sure... :/
