I was asked to video my EMS service, local PD, and local FD put on this year's Prom Promise at one of our local High Schools. I am still working on the video, but here are few shots from it. Hope you enjoy!

I have done the GPS antenna upgrade and the copper foil mod. I went from getting a max of 8 satellites to now getting 10-11 satellites on a regular basis. Well worth the money. I think both the mods plus shipping I spent $30. Well worth it in my book!!!

I have the same shielding and I drop satellites. I am doing the foil mod. I have stuff ordered and it is on it's way!

People like this give quadcopter pilots a bad name. People that walk around with assault rifles and hope the cops confront them piss me off too.

I just checked all my settings. They are all within the normal values. The software stated not to calibrate if the values are within the correct range. Other than recalibrating the compass before my next flight, I don't see where my settings need to be changed.

Anyone use the upgraded GPS antenna? If so, how much did it help? I am scared to death of dropping satellites again during a flight and almost losing my P2V+.

i have a P2V+ v2.0. Just opened the top and my ESCs have no version number on them (but they do have a blue mark on them). Serial number is PH645384988. I bought mine around 12/14-12/16/14 at a Amazon Discount Store that is local. I do not have 4 beeps after the initial start up beeps...

I got my P2V+ the 1st of Dec. I do not think it is the V3. I have not taken the top off yet, but I will check the plug when I do. I want to do the foil mod regardless. I don't feel safe flying my P2V+ right now and I hate that.

Just ordered the supplies need for the foil mod from amazon. They will be here next week. I won't be flying until I get this done. I think the new firmware is the main problem for dropping satellites. Hopefully the foil mod will work for me too!
