Hi all
I know this might sound like a silly question but when you buy a new phantom 2 vision plus are the red stripes already stuck onto the bird or are they shipped on a separate sheet and you stick them on yourself? Also, what other sheets of stickers are provided.
Cheers
Hi
A few months ago my Phantom died 50 meters in the air and fell to the ground. After it landed I discovered that two of the props had come off in mid air.
I haven't started this thread to discuss why this happened I would just like to know if anyone else on the list has had an incident of...
It is a DJI Phantom 2 Vision plus version 2.
It has black dots where the props screw on.
It was bought 3 months ago and had been with the dealer for 4 months before that.
I agree with you that in my case the props coming off didn't cause the crash. But suppose in another situation there was a sudden slow down of the engines and so the props came off as in my case but then the engines recovered. There would be no way to regain control of the bird as there would...
I know it's wise to make sure the props are nice and tight. But check out how the guy puts them on in DJI's own promotional video of these wonderful self tightening props. They are actually promoting just hand tightening them. Surely they should be designed not to come off whatever happens...
Yes I was wondering that. Do you think if one esc fails it could temporarily effect another one (given that 2 props came off but one of the motors is still working perfectly).
Yes it is the transmitter with the gimbal wheel.
(Haven't had time to open it up to take a look yet).
Is there anyway a short in the transmitter could cause motors to stop suddenly?
