I can assure you, as a former USAF Weather Specialist, what you say is absolutely true. It can be calm at the surface, but aloft, the winds can be tearing, There are several good weather programs for drone pilots, and I suggest everyone get one. They will tell you what the wind speeds are aloft.

Maybe if the price comes down....way down.

Don't worry. This will be quickly followed by the Phantom IV version 2.

I thought maybe the vibration of unbalanced props might be the reason. Lets get a few more answers before deciding.

How many of you, with cracks in the shell, have balanced your props? Do any of you, who have balanced your props, have cracks?

Just install the DJI GO app, and fly. I leave all the rest of the stuff on there so when I'm not flying, I can play a few games. Some of the Nvidia stuff is interesting. Doesn't take up a lot of room. Of course, I have the 32GB version with LTE, so it bothers me less. Love my Shield! Great video.

I have a Nexus 6p, but I think I'll stick to my Nvidia shield. Great tablet for flying! There is a printed sunshield for the Nvidia Shield. Won't fold up, but works great.

Went on Ebay, and bought a 32GB 4G Nvidia Shield. Love it!

Have to put this on the backburner. Just got a good deal on a 3 Pro bundle. Got all I can handle for awhile ;)

Got my deal on Amazon last week. Phantom 3 Pro with three batteries, Manfrotto bag, filter kit, and three battery charger for $1600. Priced it out, and after the accessories, drone came to $1000. They must have known in advance.
