Yes I took it a week ago and had no problems w airport security or flying it on Ambergis Cay. I know of two other people there w Phantoms during the same time frame as well and they no issues at all

I'm actually leaving tomorrow. No response from the aviation people after their first response. I'm taking my drone anyway. Will be using it on Ambergis Caye. Will let u know how it goes. Have had a hard time getting any sort of answer from anyone. Hoping for the best

You will get the same overload message if u start your phantom in deep grass too. Just move it to a area that is has less growth pushing on the camera during startup

Thanks for all the tips. Before checking the forum I used a large wrench and it would not budge. Used a strap wrench like uav-video and worked great. Amazing that it won't move w a typical gripping wrench

I don't think it's the travel there but the need to get authorization before flying it. I emailed him again for more information on where is this department and for some idea on how complicated this process is with no response. I'm tempted to just take it and try to be inconspicuous in flying...

This is the response I received from the Belize Aviation Dept stating the need for authorization. I have emailed back for more clarity in what this involves, but I'm certainly concerned and disappointed on the logistics and time that may be necessary to use my drone legally

Update. Recorded today in 1080/30 frames and playback was fine. Probably happy with this setting for the time

Thanks for your input. Reviewed my posted specs and realized this computer has aged to almost 4 yrs. it still works great but 4K video is too much for this machine as I have a feeling it is for a lot of new ones if they aren't built appropriately. I'll give the 1080 a shot for now and look...

Progress! I reloaded in 480 and its night and day difference. I'll have to try 720. So I wonder if a new video card is a possibility Hate to buy a new Mac right now
