Remember that the Phantom 3 Standard has a shorter range than the other DJI craft. Your signal will be lost sooner than the others so it's risky to take it out more than a mile.

I have a polaroid l9 tablet and although the DJI Go app isn't supported officially on mine, I still sideloaded it and it works perfectly. Plus the tablet was only about $45. It's 9 inches, and fits perfectly in the controller tablet cradle.

Upgrading to firmware version 3.14 should be easy as pie...... DJI just needs to make their software compatible with windows 10 and everything should work fine.
