I would do as stated before...wait a day at least, maybe two while sitting in a warm, sunlit area. Then if you are confident it is dry try to boot it up and cross your fingers. Again, I don't know the affect on the battery or motors specifically and if those will be able to be used again.
Is it fresh water or salt water?
If fresh you MAY be able to salvage some of the parts and rebuild, if salt then you are screwed. Open it up and blot as much water as you can and sit it out to dry for a couple of days. I honestly don't know what parts are instantly screwed and what may be...
Based on other people's experiences and the website claim of 3 or 4 times the distance, yes, a bit disappointed.
But I do understand that moving locations could help drastically
It's hard to say what the issue could be. I get frustrated reading about people getting 3k' stock or 20k' with the mod but I think it really just depends on what area you're flying in and the level of radio and obstacle interference. Try to find an open area without houses and see if it helps any.
Wait, so you were getting 2100-2400 ft stock and now only 2000 ft with the mod?
Make sure that you are keeping all variables as close to the same as possible...same flight path, standing from the same spot, using the same app etc. from when you were flying stock.
Clouds shouldn't matter...
What distance were you getting previously?
I am in a neighborhood with lots of Wi-Fi and trees and would max out at about 800 ft prior and after get about 1400-1600 ft. Having the antenna pointed directly at the craft certainly helps but I too am a bit disappointed with the difference.
I...
Good to hear you got her back in a little over 15 minutes. I looked at the mission in FlyLitchi and it said 32 min!
Have you gotten any other takers on this project? I am still interested but my "jello" is pretty severe at the moment and I'm trying to troubleshoot the problem. In doing...
Directly from Android App Info:
Litchi
ver 3.5.1
Total 60.04MB
App 53.14MB
USB Storage App 0B
Data 420KB
SD Card 6.49MB
I don't currently have an SD card in my phone and I'm not sure where it's installed on my tablet, so can't really comment...but I will anyway. I don't think it matters.
It was moderately windy but I was on a leisurely flyby focused on fixed POI slightly below horizon. I guess I'll test more to see if it turns into a constant issue and if it's directly related to Litchi or simply the flying conditions.
I've recently had an issue with "wavy" video from shutter speed(?) while running Litchi. Have you experienced this and is there a way to solve it?
I've also noticed that if I set 1080p 60fps in Litchi and then run DJI Go it will stay at that setting...just an FYI for someone who might prefer...
