very cheap and versatile solution. just adds some extra weight on your equipment list. they come in various max. power sizes. keep the max. power output of your cigarette lighter plug in mind. if you need more max. output, you have to connect directly to your car battery...
and i had one prop departing during start a while ago. nothing happened as the bird was still on the ground and firing up the engines. i guess i did not lock it properly. since then i allways check two times when attaching each prop and had never any trouble again.

i just read that you replace your props after 10h of flight as part of routine maintenance. is there any recommendation to do so, or did youhad any bad experience with "worn out" props due to running hours, but not by hitting anything?

thank you for posting the video. I can fully understand that you kept the distance.
I will go for the same type of move, but can get closer as the wedding couple is excited about drone baloon thing and the buzzing noise will not be disturbing that much
thx

ok, understood. should work if there is only little or no wind.
if there is wind i would be afraid to cause a baloon 'massacre' and or get the leftovers tied around the props of my copter....

hi kevmo
to do orbiting (ascend while looking down?) at the end could be a nice finish for the shot. it also depends if the baloons stay more like in cluster or just scatter all over the place....

hi folks,
i will use my new phantom 4p during a wedding of our friends.
i would like to film when all the guests let baloons with best wishes cards fly.
my idea is to start a couple meters in front and above the crowd and then ascend with the baloons that it will look like you are flying with...
yes, i meant portrait mode. but with the tip of doing it in two rows, it will be fine.
another questions, how to tilt up to 30 degree, my gimbal stops a zero degree and not 30?????
skysmurf
Hi folks,
can the camera of the phantom 4 Pro be tilted / rotated by 90 degree like with the mavic?
I would like to take shots with more sky on it and use it for panos as well.
thanks a lot for your advice:)
