This sport is about tinkering. You an learn so much without even flying. In the beginning, we soldered to get FPV and took dog collars apart because we were afraid of fly aways. Enjoy the sport, I know you will. Be ready for speed bumps from nowhere.
My original P2 non vision is in pieces after...
I could care less. I can figure out your conversation. This is a new hobby. You want to burn down the places that have what we need. Not everything is going to work or everybody is going to have the correct answers. We had a lot of problems in the beginning. We had another person who wanted to...
Smells like toro poo poo. Brit, you need to read more carefully. How many threads did you leave the same response. It's not B & H Photos fault that you can't read. You know what they say when you ASSuMe. They are a good company and have probably been around long than you.
I haven't been on the site in a long time. I'm a snow bird and moved from Florida back to New York for the summer. In Florida my Phantom 2 worked flawless. I was very comfortable with flying it. My background is Aerodynamics and forty plus years of military (U.S. Navy), civilian, airline and RC...
I bought my P-2 from B&H a couple of months ago. In the past, I've bought my go pro cameras and digital cameras as well as accessories. B&H Photo is a great company to buy from and they always have deals like these. This sale has been running for a while or they turn it on an off to keep me...
Marine environment is cruel to electronics, especially this type of electronic. I use Boeshield T-9 and spray my boards and plug connections. Been using it for years on boats. Way better than WD-40. Boeshield dries to a light, waxy type of coating.
I agree with Sranch. I borrowed a friends PC laptop for the upgrading the iosd. Before that, I learned to fly it for weeks without data on the ground station. Now that data is on my monitor, it is a lot easier to fly and return without super human vision.
How do I delete an image of a video camera and the video camera settings which are displayed on my Lilliput 664 monitor. They are in the upper left corner and on the left side of the monitor overlaying battery and distance info from the iOSD.
How did you make out with updating your iOSD. Were you able to use your Mac? I'm having the same problem. For my first flights, I have not used the info from the iOSD only the video.
