ohhhhh ok i see... yea i went ahead and ordered a board from hpv horizons i meant when i put it all back together... i honestly likely wont as I want to test this battery extensively after repair... yea the old board is done for i screwed it up further trying to "fix" it.... i ordered the board...
oh i see... yea i just meant since I had the battery cracked open i was thinking about going ahead and doing the mod but for certain i would do it on the switched side.
Thanks again Ed for the info... yes if i remember correctly from the reading ive done on the battery mod you solder to the switched side. ill report back if all goes well with new board on battery.
good point... battery is around 80-85 percent i wasnt going to charge it was just gonna discharge it more... will sitting at 85 percent for a few weeks hurt it? waiting for a board from uk likely will take that long.... i may just hook up a pc cpu fan to it like a half amp one and let it run a...

yes you are right but it would be pretty easy to find out if the battery was ok or not... it didnt get hot or anything... id just fly it low and close first couple of flights. plus you can see cell health in battery reports after a few filghts. i seriously doubt the cells are damaged it wasnt...
ugh... upon further inspection there are multiple fried components.... only hope for me is a new smart battery board... this battery is like new i guess i can put it up and wait for one of my other batteries to go bad to get a smart battery board from it.... anyone feeling kind and want to sell...
found a burned/missing component Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet this is the underside of the smart board i circled the component that is gone/burned off the pads are intact i dont think it is a fuse as i checked voltage on one side of it and its a ground it seems... not sure...
