I understand and agree. Im just shooting some footage off shore so there's not obstacles to worry about. Just drifting away which I keep a close eye on distance and direction. And Pmode is your friend in tight places. Thanks

When flying out from shore. I've been flying upwind and coasting back. I seem to get a longer flight time then using p, or sport mode.

Just a added question. Does atti mode use less battery? Sense it's not working as much to keep potion? I've only used it briefly but didnt pay attention to power usage. Would make sense to me you would gain a little more battery time in this mode.

Maybe this is a good indication that some need to learn more about flying in atti mode just for this reason. Imo I would practice flying in atti mode to understand what the bird does and how it reacts to input. It could save a lot of money in the long run. Some of us just cant crash one and go...

Thanks for the info. I flew yesterday with antennas up and parallel. I went 2800ft. I was getting a (video signal lost) every once in a while but the controller status light stayed green the hole time. That's the furthest I've flown so far. Because I was worried about signal. I agree. eventually...

I have tried all positions that I thought would be safe. Straight up, parallel and forward to the first detent. I havent went flat yet because I didnt see in the manual to do that. I believe I'm set on 5.8 gig.

First time posting here. I'm using a phantom 4 pro. I havent really experienced any problems other then some video lag. the question I want to ask is. When in flight. At around 350ft altitude. I've only been able to fly out to a distance of 1500 to 1600 ft. Then start getting signal lost...
