Hi Rockydog. Can you please clarify this? I'm not sure I understand.
When I catch the drone "in-flight", that is, hovering slightly over my head, but not landed, I push the left stick and it stops the motors.
Thanks for your comments. I just checked the flight log. I was embarrased to find out apparently I did not change back to PMode. Mistery solved.
It was probably not that windy that the drone could not compensate. As I was walking towards the tree I was actually pushing it to crash. What a...
I crashed into a tree yesterday. I am now wondering if I could have avoided it.
Safe scenario, large soccer playground sports empty area, surrounded by trees - reasonably far. Quite strong wind but UAV forecast says 22kmh so I decide to fly, keeping it very close to me. Altitude 10m only (30...
Very good point on the wifi channel. Our condicions could indeed have not been identical. Will try flying it again and check with wifi analyzer.
Never happened to me so far that I forgot to kill the app, can't comment on that.

First thread is a bit more of a mix :)
I'm trying to return my phantom 3 and get a full refund...

Hi guys,
I hope I can use your expertise here please, I've been reading the forum and found nothing like this. Looks like a remote-phone issue to me, while drone-remote connection works fine. Details:
First symptom: sudden loss of signal. Failsafe return to home is triggered as per screen...
