    P3s Battery Planning

    I wouldn’t leave the battery in the drone. Store it in a conditioned space. Battery should be stored at 50%. This can be done by you or the discharge setting in the app. Don’t fly with a partially charged battery. It will not read battery level correctly and could cause issues.

    I made 2’x2’ out of MDF. It stands just low enough that if I miss the landing and come down next to it, the blades will still clear. I’m adding a small level to it for any calibration needs down the road.

    How old are they? I don’t know anything about P2’s but it sounds like the battery has lived its life. Possibly a bad cell or more.

    Probably not. I’ve done it once. No issues (cross fingers). But you could do a gimbal calibration just to make sure.
