Wow $6000. You can buy a lot of batteries for that price. Can't the cord get either cut from the props or tangled in the drone? Whats the weight of the cord? If I need a tethered cord, I can make my own. Way over priced.

I have a Phantom 3 that I registered a year ago. I just bought a Mavic pro platinum. Do I need to pay more money to register the mavic, or can I use the same Register number from the Phantom? The FAA site is now up to $45.00 for 3 years. Yikes.

I have a phantom 3 advanced and I use Nvida Shield tablet K1, made in 2016. Very happy with it.

Dji announced that the Phantom 3 Advanced is no longer in production. Does anyone know what this means for owners? Will they still have updates for the drones? I have not seen an update for this drone in almost 2 years. Maybe I don't want an update. Any thoughts?

Sorry, just found this message. I live in in Riverside. I fly a phantom 3 advanced. I do it as a hobby.

Forest Falls is a beautiful area. I have been there several times. It is know for flash floods when it rains. I like to fly in Big Bear lake. Near the solar observatory is a great place to fly.

Do you still fly at the citrus park? Have you had any problems there? I flew there sometime back. I try not to go to high because airport is close. I was flying my drone, and an airplane flew over the park really low. Below 350 feet. I got nervous and left.
