Hey gang, been out of the flight world for a while. Been messing with my P4 standard this week. I'm still on firmware xxx. 602 for the record.
Using Go4, I'm getting green bars occasionally, but don't get them using Litchi. Does Litchi do a better job at sending/receiving signal? Am I missing a...
How long have you left the battery on the charger?
I read somewhere that you can connect to the charger and leave it on for a good while before you see any charging activity.
That's weird, my controller went bad so I didn't fly for about a year or so. I only charged my battery once in that time period. I just got a new controller a couple weeks ago and after a few cycles my battery is around 95%. Still even across each cell.
Interference perhaps. After not flying my P4 for a year or so I bought a gl658c controller and paired to it. The first couple of flights (same area as always, my property /pasture) I was losing video signal and black and green flashes on the display. When I selected 'manual' mode and then...
I was experiencing black and green flashes on the display. Tried re calibrating everything to no avail. I tried switching the channel frequency from auto to manual, then selected a channel that seemed stable and the image and video was perfect.
I'm running firmware from 2016 on my 'Phantom 4 "standard".. Not Phantom 4 Pro.
Firmware version 1.2.602.
Flys perfectly with none of the geo fencing crap. Every now and then I'll get a warning about a no fly zone, but it's not restricted.
EDIT.. Sorry, the title asked about P4 Pro firmware but...
Just did another test flight and got the same results. Have to switch to manual and select a seemingly clean channel. Like I said I've always flown in this same location and haven't had this issue before. Maybe the GL658C uses a different frequency..?? I don't know.
But at least I have a work...
OK so I might have it figured out, but not sure why it's happening.
I tried a fresh recalibration on everything, tried a different cable but still had poor video feed. So.. I decided to try a different channel. I changed from auto channel to manual, selected a channel that seemed stable and...
So I'm back home and doing more testing. It seems that the display clears up when the P4 is further away.
I made sure that wifi was off on my iPad Pro.
