I had the same issue from the DJI Case- I didn't even use it all that much- just transporting between my house to my car a couple of time. Lost 2 inserts. I actually reported it as a warranty repair, and they sent me a new case.

So what happens in this situation when a "lost" and sold drone is bought by someone. The new owner registers it as their drone, but it has been registered with someone else- Would DJI send an email to the original owner and say their drone has been re-registered? Are there any legalities here?

The remote is indeed a tight fit. My remote started getting a few black marks because of the foam rubbing too often. But after a while it does loosen up, probably the foam wearing away.

Also, remember it isn't just the straps that break the antenna on the DJI Hardcase. Mine broke because i closed by case in a certain way and the top part of the foam caught the ends of the antenna as they closed. So you need to be careful when closing and not just closing it like a cardboard...

It is also worth mentioning that even with the strap, you're not guaranteed not to break the Antenna. You need to be careful when closing the lid- as sometimes the top lid does not align properly, pushing the antenna down on the tips and breaking the base.
