    Litchi altitude question

Thanks so much! I figured it was true that altitude was relative to the home point. Now that I know more about how litchi works with google, I think the best bet is to pre fly the mission to get the waypoint altitudes in FPV , then build the waypoint mission.

    Litchi altitude question

Thanks for the great link! I don't think this technique will work in this location, however, on account of google earth's lack of precision regarding altitude mentioned here in other replies...

    Litchi altitude question

Greetings! I'm just getting going with waypoint mission planning on litchi. My question is when I set the altitude at a waypoint (say 20'), is that 20' above the ground, or is it 20' above the home point? Is altitude determined via the avoidance or sonar on the Phantom 4? I'm filming a...

Phantom 4, litchi, and Nexus 7 II

Has anyone gotten this setup to run? After downloading litchi, I can't get past a "failure to connect to DJI Servers" error message. Even the DJI GO app won't run now. Help!

    Litchi app

Has anyone had any luck flying the P4 with Litchi on a Nexus 7 II? So far, all I get is "failure to connect to DJI servers" message, and litchi blames it on DJI. DJI, of course, does not respond.

    Litchi on Android 6.0.1

Have you gotten litchi to run on your Nexus 7? I've loaded on my N7, and can't get past initialzation. Fly litchi blames it on DJI, DJI doesn't respond! By the way, since loading litchi, DJI GO doesn't work either...

    So just to be clear...

Actually, if the Realtor uses the product, it's considered commercial, therefore illegal without the Sec. 333. The FAA has no gray area on this. Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots mobile app

    SD Card Write Speeds

I can't see the point in 64 GB cards either. Do you want to store the work of many flights on one card and keep sending it out and risk losing it all? My preference is a number of 16 GB cards in different colours so I don't get them mixed up. Thanks for the valuable info! I shoot video at...

    Return to Home learning curve...

Um, uh, ya...well I did say I was a newby, right? After analyzing the flight log for the first time, it looks like I initiated the auto land feature instead of RTH. DOH! Sorry for the waste of bandwidth... Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots mobile app

    Return to Home learning curve...

As a newby, I learn more on virtually every flight. Most recent was an attempt to get some shots of the cliffs on a mountain top. I was flying from a hill top approximately 1.5 miles from the mountain. The P4 was barely visible against the background. I'd set the RTH altitude to 80 meters...

    Video players?

Thanks Blue Bird! The VLC works great! I can see my footage finally! Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots mobile app

    Video players?

I'll try it. I have windows media player, but it comes up with codex errors, whatever that is! Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots mobile app

    Video players?

Hey Flyers, I'm getting some great footage, but cannot play the videos off the sd card on my PC. I have a powerful gamers machine the runs Windows 7 pro, but footage taken in either QuickTime or MP4 give codex errors. Does anyone know where I might download a suitable player? Thanks Sent...

    Birds

I've only had my P4 for a weak, but it's been investigated by 2 Hawks, a falcon, and an owl! So for, no incidents, luckily for the Phantom and the birds! Keep in mind, birds of prey attack in a dive. They are far better fliers than you will ever be, but they are defensive when climbing. If...

    Phantom 4 & iPad a1395

You have probably discovered the old iPad is too slow. My a1458 (iPad gen 4) suffers from blackout. Not only that, it's heavy, ungainly, and doesn't fit the controller without an adapter. I have an iPad mini 2 on the way...it seemed like the best economical choice, as I'm not ready to go...
