Someone must have been filling my Phantom 2 with rocks, cause with zenmuse, gopro and dji videolink i am at 1312g, 12g over "max" takeoff weight. And I havent even added the iOSD mini and GPS tracker yet. So I'll probably clock in at around 1400g. :shock:

Also, the DJI AVL58 receiver will not work with a car battery, because, while they are "12V" they are actually 13-14V. I tried, and now I have to go find me another source. Worked with a 12V adaptor after ti had gotten 13V, but it wont transmit at 13V. Absolutely mindboggling :P

So, I have been reading these dreadful flyaway posts, and I feel like i lost 90% of my will to keep flying these things at all. But then it struck me, just the sheer numbers of these sold, the few hundred fly-aways, altho unfortunate, must be below what a producer considers as an acceptable...

arent these one standalone USB slabs connected via cable to the main board ? In that case you should be able to buy any usb port from any dealer and connect it. Wiring may be different tho. Myself, I love that my phone and my drone has the same usb type :P
