Are updraft's the issue? Or should that be downdrafts that reduce lift? All the same I guess, stay clear of structures with this potential.

Straight down crash landing from about 70 feet onto grass. Destroyed it. No VR S, no prop guards issues, I believe it was pure pilot error. Long story. Rookie mistake. Lesson learned, do not panic.

Thanks- was running P2V but had done no firmware updates (it was rock solid - never more than 3-4' off hover point and never wandered...wish I hadn't sold it for the P2V+... although the camera improvements with the gimbal are like color versus black & white). Am in a reasonable declination area...

Am i understanding correctly - 3.04 was separate from the gimbal/camera update? If so, and the 3.04 is the cause of the TBE and compass declination issues - and 3.0 is clear of those issues - is it possible to install 3.0 again? (until DJI comes out with 3.05 to fix 3.04...hopefully)
