I am using a P3P to take photos to use with PIX4D mapping software, but the white balance is all over the place. I have experienced the same problem either when taking the photos manually using the DJI app or or PIX4D app.
Unfortunately the PIX4D app does not have a manual white balance...
If you have a very high contrast image for example half your scene is in the shade and the other half in direct sunlight, the camera will not be able to expose correctly for both so you either end up getting both areas over and under exposed or the camera might expose for the dark shadow area...
Just touch the area on the image area where you want the exposure taken, when you do so you get a square box showing the area where the meter reading is being taken. That's how it work on the iPad, it is probably the same on an Android device
