Has anyone experienced this? While calibrating the joysticks in the Phantom Assistant, the gimbal tilts erratically. This also happens during flight. I can see the X1 values jumping around the same way in the assistant.
Be careful if you do use string to connect the prop guards. The knot I used came loose (user error) and got caught in the propellor, causing a crash and a broken gimbal.
Great to hear, remember to recalibrate your sticks before flying. Yeah no idea about the failure, was wondering that for mine too. Did you have any crashes or install new firmware before it started to lose the link?
I've been playing around in simulation mode, trying to create a flight path to fly in a circle but keep the middle as the point of interest. I have edited the headings in 36 degree increments using 10 waypoints. Will this work? Weather isnt too great at the moment so I can't test it out. I also...
Pretty easy. Its held down by 2 small screws. You need to lift up the main board a little bit, just be careful. You also need to route and tape the 2 antennas like the original - make sure the ends are straight and pointing down.
This issue drove me nuts. You need Part 5 - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1 ... eiver.html
Make sure it is not the receiver for the Vision because that is a different frequency. When you do the replacement take out the battery as well, that will give you a bit more room to play around...
I was hesitant about removing the old pot so I tried it and it seems to work...am I damaging any of the electronics by doing this?
I went with a 1k pot with 4 x 910 ohm resistors as suggested in this post: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8399&p=103876&hilit=910+resistor#p103876
Calibrated X1 in the RC and...
I ended up leaving the original pot on there...just soldered wires to the existing pins and made sure they were not touching anything else. I was scared about removing the original pot in case I damaged the board. It is all working well!
Re: Video: Installing a Tilt Control Knob on Stock Transmitt
Is it possible to just solder wires for the new pot onto the metal pins of the existing pot - essentially have two controllers?
Like others I only have an iOSD Mini, but I have a Flytrex module on the way - will that provide enough flight data?
Great to see DJI getting involved here.
