KayJay, I have a 5 year old MacBook bro. I've upgraded the ram and installed an SSD.
I capture in 4K and then when editing, I create proxies to make this process smoother. Then once I'm done, I can export to 4K or 1080P which yields better results than if I captured in 1080P.
I have a Mac and use the same card and have no problems.
I record in h265 MP4. If you recorded in MOV, just change your file extension to MP4.
I then use Adobe Media Encoder to encode to prores.
You shouldn't have any problems.
Does quality increase with file size increase?
For example, raw footage from my P4P is .mov shot in H264 4K@30FPS totalling 5GB. If I transcode it to a ProRes 422 it increases the file size quite significantly. Does this increase the quality or just the file size? If it's just the file size...
Actually, come to think of it, I was hovering a white cemented parking lot. Possibly the VPS was just seeing white with nothing to lock on to.

I would have preferred it to hold 6 filters and 2 SD cards and be a props on case but hey, you can't have it all.

I have noticed it. I thought it might of just been the wind but even when I got out of the wind and came in low to land it was all over the place. It really makes me feel uncomfortable.

You don't need to record in pal because you live in Europe as most TVs and players are both pal and ntsc compatible.

If you are going to use the final output in broadcast in a PAL region, then record in PAL. This does have a limitation of FPS. If you are only using the footage for online distribution, the use NTSC if you want the 120 FPS.

How far ahead of yourself were you? Were you right above yourself?
If going for height above yourself, I find it better to have the antennas perpendicular with the ground as that way the signal will beam up.
