Seeing as many waypoint missions that had a crash mid flight on here, I'd probably run the mission at 200' at least and then review the video to ensure I did not have any close calls.
A 50' water tower seems very short, are those municipal water tanks or private?

Same here, they really catch any wind that is out there. I put them on when I let my kid fly or if I'm near structures. Get a set of the quick disconnect ones if you want to try them out.
I will say that it does make it easier to keep an eye on it as it does make it easier to see at distance...
Yep. I had (as far as I could tell) set up both the iPad and 5S the same way, as recommended by others on this forum.
