    Propeller Mounting Plate becoming loose

Since the black are the inverse of the silver they are made on a separate assembly line with one having a slightly thinner set of manufacturing parameters causing them to be slightly looser. As long as the collar screws are tight you should not have any problems in flight.

    Propeller Mounting Plate becoming loose

By all means check them with an allen wrench, but the screws are called collar screws. They will not allow you to over tighten them keeping you from cracking the propeller mounting plate. Mine have a slight movement back and forth, but there is no vertical movement that I can tell.

    made some RF discoveries today

Great video and information James. I have a question I've been trying to get an answer for. Is the AC flight data eg distance, velocity and altitude in the same stream as the video signal? If so, the green/red status light on the RC must be part of the video transmission stream. Am I right to...

What is the range? People personal experiences.

3.5 miles, 7 miles round trip. P4 stock setup. I was 250 up a hillside and had LOS the whole way. Could have went farther, but the woman inside my tablet said "time for this one to come home".

Nexus 7, factory OS 5.1.1 still crashing Go 4 app

I am running a Nexus 7 2013 5.1.1 with all the latest DJI firmware updates and DJI GO 4. I haven't had any OS crashes and have flown this setup 6 times so far this Spring. I have MTP turned on and USB debugging turned off.

    Newbie help...hovering issue

I don't use a gimbal guard. After calibrating the VPS my altitude readings were once again correct and it didn't drift up, then back down.

    Newbie help...hovering issue

I had the similar problem with mine continuing to increase altitude after I let off the stick, then settling back to the original altitude I wanted. The height reading would also be off by -50 to 100 feet when I went to land. Won't hurt to try it.

DJI forces us to take the GO update v3.1.3 [Android].

I'm back up and flying! Turns out DJI GO starts up automatically when I turn my Nexus on. It wouldn't allow me to access the cache folder until I stopped it from running in my Settings, Apps, Running. Sure would be nice to keep it from starting up until you need it. I still had to do some...

DJI forces us to take the GO update v3.1.3 [Android].

Great work on this problem that should never have been forced on us to begin with, Digdat0 and the rest of the contributors. I downloaded the 2 files, stored them on my desktop drive, but for some reason I can't copy/paste .json files to the dji.pilot cache folder. I renamed them to .jpg and...

    Do you color your props?

This ink drys in less than a minute. I tried to rub/scratch it off. It's permanent! It's very 1 dimensional and doesn't add any weight to the prop from what I can tell. I wouldn't put a clear coat on, as it may unbalance the prop. This is what I bought...

    Do you color your props?

I tried the Rit synthetic method a while ago and it turned out OK. Just a single color, but after I saw your props and the detailed write-up on how your wife did yours, well this is my first try at it. I don't think I'll venture any further than my props for now, but who knows. Your wife isn't a...

I must have hit something in the air..

Like dirkclod said that's just a fairly large bug. I get those on summer days when the bugs are out in full force.

    Distance

I've read members doing optimum speed/distance tests and they came up with 31mph. Some modify their controller to adjust/hold the throttle at the right mph during the flight.
