Well, after a few agonizing days, there was success! I borrowed an iron from a buddy and soldered the uf-l plug directly to the board, minus the piece that broke off. My soldering skillz must be pretty good, cuz I just went up 1000' and 500' out and no signal loss. Hooray!

I'm usually pretty careful with things like this, but alas, while scraping the silicone off the Tx antenna board, I snapped the ufl plug off the board. I don't have any soldering eq., and even if I did, I doubt I could micro-solder this back on. I took it to a jewelry repair shop, but they...

That is correct. I did not plug into the gimbal usb port. The only thing I have noticed so far, is the camera will contact the ground when installed and is rotated down(as if it were sitting on my desk). When I first power it up, it starts in the pointing down position and then I adjust it back...

Got my taco in the mail today. I simply installed it, plugged the P2V into Assistant 2.0, set the gain to 0 and off I went. The Phantom is definitely a little 'clunkier' but I think that's a good thing, in that your abrupt movements will be a little subdued while shooting. Anyway, did 3 minutes...

I ordered my taco on Tuesday and got another e-mail stating my order had been shipped on Wednesday. The time between order confirmation and shipping confirmation e-mails was exactly 36 hours 3 mins.
