Had simular issue with my fc 40 connected when i first got it then wouldnt connect,just kept trying till the last time i pluged the usb cord into it and it mad a click noise and connnected..so im guessing in my case it was a connection problem.

I have a similar issue, when i first got my fc40 i downloaded the naza software and connected the quad and it seemed to connect and tell me i was all up to date..but now when i connect it,The red light flashes inside the quad but i get no green light on the software screen saying its connected...
