I'm up in the Penns Creek area and would like to get together with a group. I have 11 acres and great farmer neighbors who dont care...and actually like my MRs and RC aircraft.
lets hope the hoverboards take the heat off us (no pun intended)! maybe there will be a NHZ no hover zone around dc! lol! the media has nothing better to do than ruin a fantastic hobby because of the actions of a few...once again the masses have to bow to the few...
it looks really tempting but i cant find anyone who has actual experience with it...even on this forum. it sure would be nice to have a system available to us that works, is reliable, and affordable.

Hopefully the FAA will change the rules in 2016 and we can use these things for professional photography without a 333 exemption. But that still wont change the park ruling... Maybe people will eventually see what beautiful work these things can do...and im not talking about the guy spying on...
Unfortunately, Ive already found out Maryland is starting to look at drone owners like gun owners. Drones are evil. Ive run into this with cops at parks and although they have been very polite, sometimes it better just to politely apologize and leave. Dont make an issue of it and make things...
i live outside of Baltimore but typically go to my farm in central pa a to fly. its to restrictive around here and drone fliers are demonized like gun owners.
