If previous owner had a mishap and crashed the drone and one of the propellers was trying to spin could have burned the motor or esc. It would good to first check wiring to the motor like Oso said.

Are you sure you downloaded 01.10.0090 bin file for the Advanced and not the Professional? I had two Phantom's Professional with ESC error and I fixed by downgrading to 01.10.0090 but again this was for my Professionals.

You need to downgrade firmware in order to fix the error, same bin fixes other error.
