This app should have no effect on satellites but I'll let the developer comment.
This app only boosts the TX power output of the model's 2.4Ghz only, nothing to do with the 5.8Ghz controls
The green line is really clever! It helps you point your transmitter directly at the model which is important with these high gain directional antennas. The line will turn yellow and then red as you point the TX away from the model. You can see this line change colors in the video when it...
I just posted a suggestion to the dev's FB page. It would be really nice to be able to touch the compass on the right map Nav pane and have it shift view to "FPV View" like a car's navigation app's "Heading up". The model red arrow would be at the bottom with heading up and the map would...
You basically use the FPV Booster app. You still need the DJI app for some functions but not all the time, more for a deep config change like SSID Re-Naming etc.
Agreed, it did improve range, and now the FPV app is a nicely done NEW way to fly, so I'm perfectly fine for paying for something that I enjoy. No one is forcing you to use this app.
Yes! It's out and looking good so far at v3.0 with a couple of extra cool features coming with v3.1 that is about to go into beta per the autor. The iOS version is in the App store and also auto updates the earlier version of the app. The new FPV tab is activated with an in-app purchase...
I believe neither app will help you in this setup.
The Vision+ booster adjusts the model, not the RE700.
The Vision "Classic" booster boosts the extender I believe (RE400 if I recall is the stock one) so the RE700 should not work for this.
This app may not do all that it was hyped to be doing but I don't think it has fried any wifi modules, they do that on their own if they weren't manufactured correctly.
This app was the first, it does improve range, and has a few other nice features so it's worth the money in my opinion.
This "smart" feature has been pretty much come into question if you read back in this thread. This app does in fact increase range, the next version was supposed to add some nice features like network security etc. But I highly doubt that it's doing anything actively smart or employing any...
