Kicerk52: Unless there has been an update, I believe the ppm option does not exist in the phantom version of the naza. There are several threads here about this. You can easily confirm this for yourself by enabling naza mode and look for the ppm option. It is simply not there.

How do you plan to connect the ezuhf to the Naza? The Phantom 2 Naza does not allow PPM connections . I believe you have to swap the phantom naza for a real naza v2 to allow ppm connection.

You need an FRSKY receiver. The FRSKY X8R seems to be the most popular and comes with the Taranis as a bundle that is offered for about $30 more than the receiver. It's easy to swap out the receiver but it will take some time to understand the Taranis but IMO, it seems a much better value than...

I had already changed out the stock receiver cables for longer ones so I have nought room to mount them anywhere. I will try moving the one close to the esc to a different spot. I need to investigate the sma / rp sma thing. Hopefully I can spend some time today testing. Thanks!

Ah ha. Here I was thinking that the red was indicating something bad and it never occurred to me that it was just indicating front and rear of the phantom. Duh! Thanks!

Hi all. I added a vtx and exchanged the factory receiver for a FRSKY X8R to work with my Taranis remote. I had an incident where due to shaky hands, I popped a component on the main board which killed the power cable that is combined with the video output cable. Read here...
