The reason for the height restriction is to stop any possible accidents occouring. Light aircraft cannot fly below 500ft unless taking off or landing which gives a 100 ft sepparation here in the UK. The max height for drones and UAVs here is 400ft.
I had the same problem using Litchi. It was playing back in .mov mofe so i changed it in the Litchi camera settings to MP4 and that seems to have fixed the problem.
Hi The only problem trying to hook it using another drone is that the second drone which may make contact hooking it may not be able to dislodge it and could be unable to free itself, so then you have 2 drones stuck in a tree..just a thought. so whatever you try, good luck.
Had you been aware of the rules regarding height and distance then your drone may not have flown away. If however you were aware and chose to ignore the flight rules then it serves you right.
Do you guys not have any height or line of sight restrictions in your respective countries ?? Or if you do it would seem that you just ignore them..risking giving the hobby a bad name.
If like me you have a spare mobile phone or tablet..just install one app and use your existing device for the other. The old device does not need a sim card to run the app.
If you have the DJi and Litchi both installed on the same device, this can cause a conflict. The Litchi app opening screen advises users to disable DJi go app when using Litchi.

As you say, you've had it for a little over a month so Amazon will probably not accept it as a return...as it is no longer within their 30 day returns policy.
