Had same issue. Like he said.....have to go back in and turn on multiple flight modes.

thx. i just went and downloaded the dji assistant and updated through my laptop. haven't flown yet to see how well it works. I was getting the altitude drops as well.

i jus turned everything on ready for flight. went through menu looking for update option. couldn't find anything, is there a way to update bird through the dji go app or does it have to be connected to pc?

I think I'll do the same . First was jus tlooking at the antennae, but now I figure might as well get the whole package! Flying low, with trees and that kinda range...nice! How does the new controller look / feel?

Oh wow, so even with the upgrade still difficult. I'm also in semi-treed area. If i could get better range here , i'm all for the upgrade. Otherwise the range in a clear enviroment is good enough for me standard. Here's hoping you'll get better range with the upgrade! BTW I'm not even close to 1...

when did 2.8.4 come out? Today i got new windsurfers. put them on got about 200 feet up and started getting choppy video. weird black lines and stuttering. thought ok screw the windsurfers. took them off and still choppy video. WTF? just wondering if it did an automatic upgrade to 2.8.4 as being...
