Thanks. That is the answer I was sort of expecting. After looking into it more, 600mw seems to be a more popular power level and is 1/3 the draw of the 2w unit. Thanks for the input.

Hi all, I've had my phantom 2 for about two years now and I have never done fpv. I'm looming at the Black Mambo which is listed as 2000 mw. This seems pretty good, and I like the compact case. Is there a better transmitter out there, or is this a safe bet?

Why is it that we can fly multiple Phantoms side by side but we cannot turn the WiFi on the GoPro on? If the GoPro causes problems by being on the same frequency, why doen't the other Phantoms cause problems?

The Phantom does a good job of holding altitude in a hover, but once it gets into directional flight, all bets are off. A ground or terrain following feature would be an incredible improvement.

Is it generally better to run them down to a 20% or so and then leave them there during storage and then charge them up the night before? I've been told that we should not drain them either. Can't leave 'em charged, can't drain them. Anyone else want to weigh in here?

I've got a new Phantom 2. If I take a few short flights and only run the battery down to 75%, am I better off to recharge to the battery up to 100% right away, or continue to use the battery on a later day and wait to recharge it once I get it down to 25% or so first?
