Don't download anything from Play Store. Get the genuine DJI GO 4 app from DJI's website.

You could probably source a controller and two after-market batteries for under USD200. That sounds worthwhile to me. You've flown it before, so you know the drone's short-comings. If it suits your needs, then why not?

Yeah, there's nothing stealthy about the Phantom. Noise-wise, however, my Avata - with its higher pitch, is probably worse... or at least more irritating.

And for something different, here's a video. :-) Not seeing many video posts these days. I was planning to upgrade, but bought an Avata instead - which is no replacement for the Phantom. Feels like there aren't too many of us still flying this bird. Powers Lookout is in Victoria, Australia...

I'm happy with these setting - relatively slow and controlled: Gimbal pitch smoothness - 20 Gimbal pitch exp - 10

Thank you. The two flights (down & up) were not consecutive. The 'up' was earlier in the evening, and hence had more light.
