I bought new props and it was the same, particularly noticeable on one motor.

Well just as an update, my Phantom has been returned, the company (scan.co.uk) have acknowledged the fault and a replacement should be with me on Tuesday. Of course it'll probably rain all week knowing my luck!!!

I've actually sent the video to where I purchased it and they've agreed something's not right. I know it may been nothing but with it being something that flies I don't want to take any chances!

So should I RMA while I still can? I don't want to be without a drone, but I also don't want it falling from the sky......

Yeah, they seem to, but I guess even small difference could cause something like this. My main concern is that if a prop was to come off in flight then it would be a case of my word against theirs.

This shows the issue as best I can, especially with the last one. I'm tightening them all to an equal resistance. I'm just concerned that a prop may come off in flight. What does everyone make of this? Also please excuse my "heavy breathing", my head was right next to the camera.....

I thought I had a bad prop, so I replaced it, but upon closer inspection it seems like both my black props need much less of a 'spin' and many more turns by hand to tighten them and never really feel as tight as the silvers which 'spin' on more but need much less of a hand turn to tighten them...

It seems (at least the way I understand it) that we'll all HAVE to maintain/upgrade to the latest firmware when DJI roll out this new app update!

Well I've only had it out three times since buying it and he noise has always been there. It was a DJI refurb so I'm hoping that it is the prop and not a motor. There's been nothing I've done that would have caused any damage. I've a new prop ordered so I'll see if that makes a difference.

I did. It's the same on both motors.

All? It is advisable to replace all instead of just the one? These were "new" with a refurbished P3S and still had the plastic on them.

Three of my props go on the 'normal' way , they spin on and then just need a little tightening at the end. However I've noticed that one of them doesn't go on like this, it spins on a little but then requires much more hand turning to tighten it. I've also noticed a whining/whistling noise...

This is a separate sort of high pitched noise though. I'm just concerned that it may be a motor getting to give out.

Ah I didn't know that. So with the drone further away from me I should be able to get more height? I'm going to try to fire the motors without props tonight to try and identify the source of the noise. I'll take a video as well if I can.
