Yup did the same thing. 65 ft high and hit the wires. Quad came tumbling out of the ski. Battery popped out was all that happened. Still flying fine.
My biggest problem was getting to the drone before a dog that was chasing it got there before me!
I've flown several times in the cold. I kept the batteries warm until flight. No problems at all . Just shorter flight times and air is a lot heavier in the cold. Takes more power and doesn't fly as fast forward or up as when it is warm out. Not much fun flying with gloves either.
I flew mine the other day in 30F weather. Bird worked fine but my phone got cold and shut off.
