It did...They decided to send me a new controller. Synced up no issues and I may get to fly some tomorrow but don't know how my weekend will go yet. I'll check out your group and maybe I'll join you guys sometime.
No...I updated thru the app, everything was fine. Flew 2 flight no issues. Then it asked me to update thru the app again, I complied and on restart my bird wouldn't link RC had all white lights.. However the app said latest was installed. I called DJI (oh boy) guy was said "no problem we get...
Still waiting on my controller to come back. Last update literally erased all firmwear on it and i couldn't get any version back on it. Hopefully they will ship it out on Monday... Ugh.

Check threads on here about getting your pre-flight down. It's very important and I think FlyAway's most always are user error and a lot of them can be corrected before the phantom leaves the ground. Good luck, have fun and enjoy. :)
Have you done a cold IMU calibration? I'm on the beta version (1.7)noticed a little wobble here and there, plus it was overdue. After the cold IMU calibration, its been flawless for me. :) Hope you sort it out.
I have more flying fun with my Syma X5c-1 and Drominda Vista than with my P3P. However I bought the P3P for photos and video and it just happened to fly. I also think weather this time of year wears on some using the P3P. Currently, here in AZ the weather became great and I've been enjoying...
