Jon, I have one, too. SM-T700 running Android 601.
It used to work. But now DJI Go 4 has become such a big fat monster that I do experience the same: image broken and banded, most of the time.
I think this (very fine) tablet is now too weak to run Go 4. I still use it but I'm afraid I'll have to...
Hi,
I'm a bit puzzled by my P4 behaviour.
I'm using DJI Go 4.0.1 (Android) and DJI Assistant 2 1.0.9
I have performed the latest FW upgrade to 01.02.0304 (and updated all my batteries too).
But even though, each time the drone starts the Aircraft Status/Overall status displays "Updates...
Not seen yet.
Btw. I didn't figure out the use of vertical framing for making panos, I've heard it from a DJI guy somewhere in the videos flooding these days.
He said that vertical tilt was not intended for making selfies but for high res panoramic rows.
Hi, I just upgraded from 1.07.6 to 1.080088.
All was done in 6 minutes, ended with success.
But when launching RC and DJI Go I got the fast flashing yellow lights and the red "Signal Lost" message.
I have the camera view, the gimbal moves OK and the camera settings available, but the motors...
No v2.7.1 has fixed nothing at all.
It's erratic: sometimes you fire the thing up and everything is 4/3, and the other time you're stuck in 16/9.
This v271 is terrible.
Did Dji simply remove them all from Dji Go latest version?
Pitch, Pitch limit, Pitch smooth, Yaw synchronous follow, and the 3 configurations?
All gone? Or where are they hidden now?
Very handy tu use, not to see what you're aiming to get ☺
I agree with you: it won't change the sensor dimensions.
Now, go make a 16/9 video viewing just a 4/3 window of the center of the actual fiel of view...
It is a bug DJI acknowledges, and as I said here above: they'll issue à fix with in 2...
We've just had a direct contact with DJI's R&D.
They've seen the problem.
An official fix should be released within 48 hours (or at least so they said!).
I don't want to crop in camera, YOU are talking of cropping.
I just want to see on the screen what the camera actually sees to be able to frame before shooting.
Even if you use Litchi you see what you're about to film or shoot, right? In a frame of accurate WxH proportions, right? The screen is...
Dji Go has always displayed a camera view showing what is aimed at for shooting, with accurate image proportions.
Only this latest version does not displays as usual.
It is a bug, period.
Aspect ratio of photo shots is correct, though. You get 4000x3000 and 4000x2250 jpegs. But you can't accurately frame from what is displayed on screen.
Same for videos.
Other folks say this bug is not present on their android smartphone (galaxy s2). On tablets, it is. On mine, at least (galaxy...
