Were these taken in The Blue Hour? I just found out about it being the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise and is really stunning light for photography.
Michael, I'm 73 and live in Co Down. If you would like to come up I'll show you the ropes. We have a good flying area here either over water or land with plenty to film or photograph.
This happened to me a lot when landing in a tight space near my house (9ft x 6 ft). I have since turned of all the sensors which I suspected of complicating my approaches and have since had no further problems even in wind.
You could set up a way point flight in advance and have the drone hover over the critical spot before letting your fiancee (assuming a yes) press the Return To Home button as confirmation of her acceptance.
For great shots and the possibility of seeing (and videoing) Basking Sharks don't miss out visiting The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Penzance. A trip over to The Isles of Scilly to see Tresco Abbey Garden will be most rewarding.
You'll be glad you did. I've found that the batteries are more efficient and in sport mode I regularly run at more than the 40 mph claimed (up to 62mph with following wind). It's also good to make sure the batteries are fully charged before a flight as they can run down more quickly than...
It is, however imho, important to look after the battery in the first few cycles. I have stuck to the rule of not letting the battery discharge to less than 50% in the first 10 cycles and I think this has helped me get the maximum out of the batteries.
