I have found that the HDMI cable affects whether the signal is transmitted or how well it displays (for P4P v1). Trying a different HDMI cable may solve the problem.
The HDMI connector on the HDMI module I think is called mini HDMI adapter. It is bigger than the micro adapter used on some camcorders. But smaller than the regular sized connector used with televisions.
I bought the HDMI module and it seems to work as it should when camera is in video mode. In photo mode, it stutters.
I also have had some success with the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter, using it in direct access mode.
