Nice! Yes 3,16 calibration is a little confusing and timeconsuming.
Hope your phantom stays calibrated, my values drift off after a few days and i have to do the calibration every 2-3 flights (4-7 days) :evil:
It does start difficult, needs more time, after a day ore two and then a few...
Sounds familiar.
Mine did the same, it shows the rapid greens when performing the CSC, but no starting on the motors.
There is a solution. Download the Naza assisitent from the DJI site. (driver first) http://www.dji.com/download/phantom-downloads/
Then perform the advanced calibration.

Fast blinking yellow is failsafe/rth.
So it must have lost connection somewhere. Maybe you turned transmitter off after the crash, or there was a problem before that caused the crash. Normally one red light flights fine, no big deal.
I don't think it's a transmitter problem. If you perform the CSC (try to start) you normally see 4 (or so) fast green blinks.
If you see these blinks, the receiver has received the sticks input, so no problem on receiver and transmitter side.
My phantom has the same problem, but maybe a little...
Bought my Phantom in may. Out of the box (version 3.10) it didn't start. I did get all the correct blinks and the fast green when trying the CSC. I started to calibrate sticks, advanced IMU calibration and it started.
Next flight the same problem, i upgraded to version 3.12, did IMU calibration...
