Make sure that the craft is paired to your transmitter before doing anything. Try again. If this doesn't work you can call DSLRPros support team they would be happy to help!
You should watch a couple soldering videos before you change them. It is very simple once you get it down. There are 3 solder points when changing a motor so it's pretty straight forward and easy.
If you have a case that organizes everything you should be fine. I was able to take it with me to burning man in Nevada from Florida. I had no problems.
Actually the beeping is the indicator, the lights do this to make sure you know for sure something is wrong. The lights do not specify which ESC is bad, unfortunately. Your going to have to find the bad ESC manually. I really do wish the lights would correlate to the bad ESC, it would be an...
If it gets hot enough to burn you then you should be worried. Noises are not uncommon after slight crashes, doesn't automatically mean that it is broken. If it seems to stabilize the camera try the crash damage test - turn 360 degrees slowly while holding the craft horizontally, with the craft...
I completely agree with Totof1965 90% of the time it is user error! I work at DSLRPros in repairs and when we ask customers what happend it always seems to go back to something they did or failed to do.
My First question for you is are you flying a p1 or p2? I'm assuming it's a p2 because they have airport failsafe feature. Just a heads up manual flying is next to impossible if you are a novice flyer. I have flown at least 300 hours and I still have trouble with it. Not saying that you can't...
a solid yellow light means you have to do a compass calibration, which is picking up your craft and horizontally spinning it 360 degrees, then turning it vertically and spinning 360 degrees again to get a GPS lock on a home position. you cannot do this in the air and i would not recommend you...
unfortuantely you do have to have all 4 ESCs soldered in place or craft will not function properly. if even 1 ESC is broken the craft will not power on! luckily the ESC LED indicators show which one is ****.
be careful with those gains. i would recommend you keep them default, even with T-motors. i've had a couple P2s flip on me because i wanted a faster drone!
