Problem solved. After much tinkering, I realized than when I reset the transmitter, it switched from Mode 1 to Mode 2. As a result muscle memory was controlling the sticks the wrong way. Switch backed to Mode 1 and there was much rejoicing.

My Phantom 1 all of a sudden can't take off. When I throttle up, then motors rev up but no where near with sufficient power. I've tried updating, recalibrating, etc. Suggestions?

Just downloaded the demo to give it a try. Not sure I could have gotten it working on my Mac without your post. Thanks!

Thanks TiberiumKANE. I sent the gimbal in several weeks ago for service. Hopefully they will be able to fix it.

Spent 2:03 hours waiting on DJO customer service line, starting at 35 in line crawling to 5 only to be disconnected.

GoPro was mounted and I've tried calibrating the gimbal switch as well (several times). No joy.

Just installed the gimbal on my Phantom 1. Don't have the upgraded board so had to use a PMU. Made sure I had the latest software update. GoPro was mounted on the gimbal. When I power up, the gimbal activates and goes through some rotations on the axis of the two motors and instead of leveling...

I'm trying to buy a Zenmuse gimbal here in the USA and am surprised by how many dealers show them as being out of stock or back ordered. Are they that hard to find or is this some subtle indication that they are being phased out? If so, is there an alternative gimbal for use with a GoPro...
