    Drone Deploy

I had the same problem using Map Pilot using a Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 The solution was to turn off obstacle avoidance. This solved the problem. I don't know if this would work with drone deploy but may be worth trying. Incidentally I found Map Pilot to be a much better app for mapping than drone deploy

    Flying near railways -UK

I've finally had a reply from Network Rail. They have said "I can confirm that you are allowed to fly within 150m (but no closer than 50m) to our infrastructure" This is, of course, with a PFCO. The CAA have confirmed the same so any bylaws conform to the ANO

    Flying near railways -UK

Network rail states: You must not fly a drone anywhere near the railway – it could result in a serious accident. Is there a list or an easy...

Phantom 4 pro ver 2.0 controller

How long does the battery charge of the P4p V 2.0 controller tend to last in terms of aircraft batteries? - I can get through about 4 batteries on my Mavic Pro before the controller needs charging. Is this about the same for the P4p V 2.0? Thanks

    PFCO renewal

Hi, can anyone who has recently renewed their PFCO suggest changes needed to the ops manual to take the 2018 ANO amendments into account? Thanks, Paul

Refurbished Phantom 4 pro ver 2

I'm looking to upgrade to a Phantom 4 ver 2.0, primarily for mapping. Would I be taking a risk going for a DJI refurbished one? (bearing in mind the drifting problems I've read about). I would save in the region of £300. Incidentally what is the verdict about the drifting problem - has this been...
