I gave up and sent it to DJI for an upgrade credit toward a Mavic 2 Zoom.

I would lose everything and P4P would return home. As for the color on the RC, I do not know in that I am color blind. My P3A flies great at same location.

I just purchased a P4P and wanted to know if one version of the GO 4 app (IOS) is more reliable than another. I have a P3A and found some upgrades caused problems. I'm assuming I need the GO 4 and should not use the DJI GO, I use for my P3A. Is that correct. Thanks Tom

My P3A has a hairline crack on two arms. Never crashed and fairly mild flying compared to my other quads.

The "dimond" basically indicates which way "home" is. When it is in the middle (above the horizontal line) you are headed towards home point.
