Similar to the problem I had. I saw several fixes, none of which worked for me.
There's the "add very small washers to the base of the gimbal attachment plate to keep the shaft from hitting the battery."
There's the "shave some off the battery." Oof.
There's the "adjust the tiny, hidden screw...
Sounds similar to my issue with the gimbal. Got my new one from B&H. Seemed like it had been rebuilt. Scuffed stainless steel, etc. But it works a treat - so onward and upward.
As far as the old shaky one, I'm searching around for a repair place as well. Two is better than one.
Well, the new gimbal arrived today and that was the problem. No more jerking about… so far.
Now, in the traditional "one solution leads to another issue" section, I have a couple of questions.
1. Instead of the direct connector into the back, this new gimbal uses the usb port on my camera -...
This is it - theoretically worth over two million words - brilliantly narrated in all of my savvy technical jargon.
I went ahead and ordered a new gimbal for next day delivery - but this gimbal may yet be able to be salvaged and used somewhere later on.
Thanks folks...
Hmm.
I've got a similar problem that occurs with 2 conditions having to be present.
However, those conditions are part of normal flight and photography.
I've tried all of the fixes in this thread to no avail.
1. When the gimbal (h3-3d) control is set for horizontal horizon (90 degrees or...
Thank you, kind and patient people.
Great solution and one that will tie me over to the next chopper… or… you know… the next soul-wrenching wreck.
Hope I can help some of you one day with my skill-set, once I find out what it is.
I'll get some pics to this thread as I hook it up for the next...
Thanks OI-P. Yes I have the H3-3D gimbal.
I do think the installation of the new board is the better solution; however, I'm already thinking of adding another, larger drone to the hangar, so I will probably wait until that happens and I can live with the downtime easier and without worry...
I spent a good hour searching for this particular request for some knowledge, but found nothing else like it.
I've got a faulty video send on the central board. A little scorch-mark and no power to either the Boscam tx or the Immersion tx that I've hooked up, both with separate cables - one...
Thanks for the reply.
I'm not putting in an iOSD mini.
I don't currently need that kind of data and control.
I have the connector but it appears to be damaged at the metallic part inside the groove (how's that for technical lingo?)
I cut three of the wires off (as instructed) and then yanked...
I have a Phantom 2 I purchased last month with the GoPro Black and HD-3D gimbal.
I also purchased a Boscam Transmitter and Receiver set-up I've not been successful in hooking up as of yet.
I ham-handed the a/v cable (5 pin connector) on my Boscam TS353 TX and have been searching for a...
