P3S flyer

Hi, I saw a video taken with a P3P to a boat, several circle shots with perfect smooth camera focus like if POI was used but the boat was sailing at a nice speed.
Also like a follow me very steady shot but ahead of the boat instead of following behind.
It was taken with DJI GO.
How can a moving POI can be achieved?
