I've never flown with any other goggles so I have no personal comparisons. My opinion on these FPV goggles are they worth the money......to me yes.....I like to fly long distance and in bright sun light and with these you don't strain looking at your tablet or phone.....but if your on a budget...
I've had my P3P maxed out as far as altitude...1641 ft. I was in the mountains here in San diego and I never got further than 300 feet from the mountain terrain.....I always turn around at 60% battery on my distance flights.

I have one and love it...I would have a weak signal at around 5k feet....with clear line of sight....now I've gotten over 12k feet with perfect signal...if I had more battery I'd go further....best upgrade for the $.....by far
